Dr. Dedhia holds an illustrious academic background. He earned the JRD Tata Trust Scholarship for his academic success in MBBS and also secured the highest percentage of marks in MS (Ophthalmalogy) at Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka. Inorder to strengthen his educational and clinical foundation, Dr. Dedhia undertook several fellowship programs such as Long Term Fellowship in Vitreo-retinal Diseases (FVRS) at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai under the guidance of Prof S. Natarajan, Fellowship of International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) and the International Fellowship at The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Retinology and Biomicroscopic Laser surgery, Rudolf Foundation Clinic in Vienna, Austria under the supervision of Prof. Susanne Binder.

Thus began Dr. Dedhia’s career journey in 2011. Prior to his current professional affiliation, Dr. Dedhia served at Sankara Eye Hospital (Anand, Gujarat) and Vasan Eye Hospital (Erode, TN) in the past. His vast clinical and surgical experience with respect to Retina includes outpatient clinic covering the entire spectrum of retinal disorders, over 6000 intravitreal injections, over 2000 surgical procedures, interpretation and management of retinal diagnostics, wide array of laser procedures and independent management of all complex uveitic and neuro-ophthalmological cases seeking solution at the Retina clinic. Dr. Dedhia has performed a high volume of Small Incision Cataract surgeries, Extra Capsular Cataract Extraction surgeries and Phacoemulsification surgeries. His surgical experience associated with Cornea, Glaucoma, Squint and Oculoplasty is also very large-scale. Dr. Dedhia has showcased several poster presentations on a national and global platform.
